Iron Table Base

I created this iron table base a couple of years ago. It was intended to accompany the hand forged occasional table I had made prior to this piece, which can be viewed here:
Wine Table

Unlike the Wine Table, which has an accelerated rust patina applied; I chose to let nature take its course on this piece. The completed iron table base was simply left outside in the element for approximately 18 months. It has developed a rich rust patina, which I could now seal after applying highlights to the grape clusters. The glass top is 3/4" thick and quite heavy, so I placed small round felt pads on top of the iron table's legs.

I have also fabricated four iron bar stools with the same motif, and will post pictures along with details shortly...
